Courrèges

The house of Courrèges was founded in 1961 by André Courrèges and quickly made its mark with a futuristic, minimalist vision that defined the spirit of the 1960s. Its silhouettes—clean, graphic, and often rendered in optic white—combined with innovative materials, introduced a new sense of freedom in both movement and style. This aesthetic resonates with modern art, particularly the work of Piet Mondrian, whose bold geometric compositions and primary colors echo the brand’s visual identity. In the same vein as the De Stijl movement, Courrèges developed a visual language that is pure, structured, and unmistakably modern. After a quieter period, the house experienced a strong revival with the arrival of Nicolas Di Felice in 2020. He reinterprets the house codes with a contemporary edge, drawing inspiration from club culture and a new generation. Today, Courrèges holds a renewed position on the fashion scene, striking a balance between heritage and modern relevance. Maison Irina Khä selects Courrèges for its ability to merge iconic design with a sharp, contemporary perspective.
